How to Connect the Bot to MT5

After purchasing your Gold Algo AI plan, you receive an EA file (.ex5). Here's exactly how to install it on MT5 in under 2 minutes.

Receive Your EA File via Email

After purchase, you'll receive the Gold Algo AI .ex5 bot file and your license key instantly in your email inbox.

Open MT5 Data Folder

In MT5, go to File → Open Data Folder. Navigate to MQL5 → Experts folder.

Copy the EA File

Drag and drop your GoldAlgoAI.ex5 file into the Experts folder. Then restart MT5 completely.

Find the Bot in Navigator

After restart, open the Navigator panel (Ctrl+N), expand "Expert Advisors" Gold Algo AI will appear there.

Yes! We strongly recommend running the bot on a demo account first to familiarise yourself with the setup and see how it trades before going live with real capital.
Do I need to leave my PC on 24/7? +
For best results, yes or use a VPS (Virtual Private Server). A VPS keeps MT5 running 24/7 in the cloud even when your computer is off. We can recommend affordable VPS options. Contact our support team for help setting one up.
Which XAUUSD pairs does the bot trade? +
The bot primarily trades XAUUSD (Gold vs US Dollar) the world's most liquid gold pair. Depending on your plan, it may also scan related gold instruments available on your broker's MT5 platform.
Can I use any MT5 broker? +
Yes, any broker that offers XAUUSD on MT5 will work. We recommend brokers with low spreads (under 0.2 pips on Gold) for best performance.
What minimum capital do I need? +
